Getting the anxiety taken care of would help you lose weight and losing weight will help your anxiety. So they help eachother. Have the vet take his blood. This similar problem my first dog had and we found that he had an autoimmune disorder. There were no signs before it just started on him. Get him to the vet or animal hospital immediatly to have it tested!
