The same thing happened to me. You're supposed to leave the ring in place for the full three weeks to ensure protection. Supposedly you can spot any time that you're on the ring and be fine. If you phone the Nuvaring hotline, they'll tell you to go see your doctor if it keeps up/happens again next month.

Yes, It is not a problem, it is what happens when you take the nuvaring out. Your body stops receiving the hormones and you get your period, If you are trying to get pregnant I recommend waiting a month or two after taking the nuvaring out. I got pregnant after taking my nuvaring out after being on it for a year and it was an empty sack or "blighted ovum", no baby etc. I still miscarried the sac and it hurt like light labor pains/ terrible cramps..
