If you want to get a budgie but you already have a cat listen carefully to these crucial rules. Hang your budgie cage up high where your cat can't be able to jump or reach for it. Try not to put your budgie cage near any wardrobes or beds either because your cat could jump up on that furniture and get your budgie. If you want to let your budgie out of it's cage, make sure that your cat is either outside of your house, or you either have the door closed to your room so that your cat can't enter inside.
