You should definitely wait. It is not really intended for children. It is quite a dangerous site really. People can hack on, strangers can get your photo, people can put silly or mean or rude things that you don't want there on it etc. and younger people do not know how to manage this. I am only warning you that you are too young. I don't have it but many people at school do. They are always complaining about hacking.
BUT... if you are absoloutely desperate and feel like you are missing out, get an older person in your family to sign up for you and you can do it together. Just remember that it can be dangerous and that you need to be careful what you are putting up on Facebook and be aware of who can see it.
