No, Z28s form 93-97 were LT1 350. 93-95 at 275 hp and 96-97 had 285 hp.
actually the 93 models and the first couple of months of 94 were never detuned from the C4 vettes 300 hp, little known fact and almost nothing you read mentions it.

You didn't say if the motor was faulty when you bought it, if so call the store where you bought it. However, if you just need to replace a motor, Hobby Lobby or most Hobby stores will have these motors available, either in their shop or to be ordered.
I had a problem similar to this on a pump i bought used the previous owner installed a replacment motor it was running backward, reversed wiring and it was fixed instantly.
