If you have the new Windows 7 operating system, you DON'T have Windows Movie Maker. But, you can download Windows Live Movie Maker or the 2.6 version online.
If you have Xp or Vista, and can't find your Windows Movie Maker program, try this:
> Click Start
> Click on All Programs
> Click (or double-click) on the icon if it is listed
If it is not listed:
> Click on Start, Computer, Local Disk (C:)
> Open Program Files folder
> Scroll down and find the Windows Movie Maker folder
> Open it and click (or double-click) on the icon/application
If you still can't find the program do this:
> Click Start (orb)
> In the Start Search space type: MOVIEMK.exe
> Click(or double-click) on the Application
you cant
If you can't close Windows Movie Maker on your computer, this is what you do:> Click Ctrl+Alt+Delete> Click on Start Task Manager> Under Applications tab, click on Windows Movie Maker and press End Task> If Windows Movie Maker is not in that list, click on the Processes tab> Click on Show Processes for all users> Scroll down to MOVIEMK.exe and press End ProcessThe program will close. This procedure can be used for any programs you can't close down manually (and those found running behind Windows).
You can't download Windows Live Movie Maker because the program only supports Vista Operating Systems... Not Windows Xp.
I HAVE NO IDEA i have been looking forever i cant find one!!
I'm not sure whether you are trying to locate Windows Movie Maker or Windows Media Player. For Windows Media Player:> Click Start orb, All Programs and Windows Media Playeror> Click Start orb and type: Windows Media Player into the Search barTo find Windows Movie Maker, try the same method above or:> Click Start orb and type: MOVIEMK.exe into the Search bar
you cant
That's because the file is not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. Anime is flash-formatted and can't be used in Windows Movie Maker unless converted first.
you cant
Try publishing or finishing the video to your computer instead of saving the project file. If that doesn't work, you may need to do some computer maintenance, such as Defrag and Disk Cleanup. Maintenance such as this helps your computer (and it's programs) run smoother. If you still can't get your Windows Movie Maker to work properly for you, download and install it again. Free Windows Movie Maker versions are available on the Internet. Google it. Make sure you download the version for your system.
Are you sure they are still in the project file? There would be red X's where media is that can't be located on your computer. If you can actually find the pictures in one of the collection panes (folders) in your Windows Movie Maker program, you should be able to drag and drop them back onto your desktop. But, if they are not clickable (accessible) from either the viewing pane or collection folder, you need to find a way to get the originals back onto your computer before they can be used again in a project. Just remember - you have to have the media used in any project available on your computer. Do not move it, rename it, or anything else until you have Published/Finished the file in Windows Movie Maker.
