If it is a slight drag; no problem. However, if the rotor is getting excessively hot, I believe you have a worn brake calipher. As your old brake pads wore the pad decreased in diameter. Hydraulic fluid ( with picks up moisture and causes rust internally)took up the space within the calipher. Now that you have installed new pads the piston in the calipher has been pushed back over a corroded calipher cylinder so resistance has occured and the brake will not fully release.
i like to bleed them from rear passenger to front driver then rear driver to right front but if its abs brakes i was told to bleed both back then both front

If your rear brakes are disces you cant adjust them but if there drum brakes they can.There is a small oblong hole at the bottom of the backing plate.Jack up one side and try adjusting one wheel at a time.You can use a flathead screw driver to do this.
look under driver side by ddoor,unscrew lock nut and tighten other screw until brake is good,then tighten lock nut.

It depends on the vehicle and the driver. Some folks wear out brakes in less than 15K and some folks go 75K before they need replacing. Have your brakes checked each time you have the vehicle serviced.
u need to pull drum off and make sure that adjuster is not istalled backwards. if it is it will just keep tightening the brake
i changed rear brakes on 1997 Chevy sub and after one week driver side locks up it will still back up but drive still locked in forward
