After our newborn was miraculously healed in front of doctors we were told by our friends that the devil had healed him do all Jehovah witnesses believe healing is from Satan?

no we don't believe that any healing comes from Satan nor does it come from God who gave you this wrong information?

How can Satan get more power than God?

He can't. In the Bible, Satan is strictly subordinate to God; he can't do anything God doesn't allow him to do. Satan worshiper's are "dark entities". There is no hell except Earth. They are the evil, the people who do not want to follow Gods rules, nor believe in him, therefore they worship a false God. Evil can never out do LOVE!

Are Satan and God enemies?

Is it true in the Mormon religion that God has a two dollar bet with Satan that Jesus will not accomplish what he set out to do?

No, definately not. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) would be appalled at the idea of God gambling or betting. They also do not believe that God has a use for money, nor do they believe that God would make any sort of deal or arrangement with Satan. Furthermore, they believe that Jesus Christ has already accomplished what he set out to do by performing the atonement and resurrection, something which he could only accomplish with the support of his Father, God.

Did God create Satan?

Christian ViewGod created angels. Satan was one of God's angels but rebelled against God. He was not called Satan at that time.Jewish ViewYes, Judaism holds that God explicitly created the Satan as he created all of the angels. However, unlike Christianity, Judaism asserts that the Satan never rebelled against God nor does he direct or control evil in the world. The Satan is God's loyal opposition, whose job it is to cross-examine God, His actions, and advocate against humanity. This leads to him generally having the responsibility for arguing that humans should not receive mercy when they arrive in the Afterlife (in contrast to God who wishes to provide mercy). The Satan is one of the few angels in the Bible whose name is never explicitly stated; the Satan is his title, i.e. the Opposer, just as the Healer is Raphael's title.

Do wiccan's believe in god or Satan?

Pagans worship neither the Christian deity known as "God" nor the one known as "Satan". Most new age pagans worship a Goddess and a God, representing the primal male and female forces that form the world around us all. There are multiple pantheons of deities for pagans to choose from. However the generic "Mother Goddess" and "Horned God" are most common for anyone that has not chosen a specific pantheon or deities within a pantheon.

What do Mormons believe about the devil?

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the 'Mormon' church) believe that the devil (also called Satan or Lucifer) is a very real being. He is the enemy of righteousness and strives to lead us away from God. Mormons believe that men have power over Satan. Satan cannot force a mortal man or woman to do anything, he can only deceive them and tempt them to turn from God. Mormons believe that Lucifer was once an angel in heaven, but disobeyed God and then was cast out of heaven and became the devil. When he was cast out, some of the host of heaven chose to go with him and have become his minions. Mormons also believe that although Satan does not have a physical body, he looks like a man. He doesn't have red skin, horns, and a tail, nor does he look like a monster or a serpent. Check out the "Related Links" to learn more about what Mormons believe about the devil.

Does satanism believe in a afterlife?

Satanists do worship Satan, that’s the meaning of their name.. “SATANists“. ”It’s just a Christian myth” no it actually isn’t, if they don‘t believe in either or, God and His Son (Jesus) nor Satan, they would be Atheist. Even if they don’t believe in him they’re still being controlled by him, Satan really doesn‘t care if you believe in him or not! All he wants to do is to get rid of you, to win this fight between him and God, to get you “closer” to him, to make you be into drugs,p0rn,killing,stealing,etc. he wants to win the battle. but let me tell you something, God will always win. No matter what satan tries to do, God will always be the lead. You see, even Satan himself believes in our, Holy Father, God himself. Satan was an angel, a follower of God. He then became jealous and made his feelings take over him, so you can understand better, he wanted to grant more power than God. He wanted to be King! There was a battle in heaven. And who won? Yes, you guessed it right. God won! along with his fellow followers (true ones.), Satan and HIS followers came down from heavens gates, Satan is a fallen angel.

What does it mean if you see a ghost of Satan?

That depends on how you know it was a ghost, and how you know it was Satan's ghost. People who claim to have seen a ghost do not - generally - know whose ghost it was. Those who believe in ghosts tend to think that they are the spirits of dead people. Those who believe that Satan exists would say that Satan is neither dead nor a person, and so cannot have a ghost.

Do Catholics believe Jesus was neither man nor God?

Absolutely not! Catholics believe that Jesus was God made flesh. In other words, he was both God and man.

Is Satan in the Old Testament?

Yes. The Satan is mentioned in the Book of Job as the primary antagonist of the story. However, it is worth noting Satan is actually incredibly loyal to God and like other angels, performs his duty without question or issue. Judaism holds that God explicitly created the Satan as he created all of the angels. However, unlike Christianity, Judaism asserts that the Satan never rebelled against God nor does he direct or control evil in the world. The Satan is God's loyal opposition, whose job it is to cross-examine God, His actions, and advocate against humanity. The Satan is one of the few angels in the Bible whose name is never explicitly stated; the Satan is his title, i.e. the Opposer, just as the Healer is Raphael's title.
