Yes; it does. My wife typically gets minor migraine headaches during her period times. With swine-flu, we had to take her to ER by Ambulance as the pain is so severe. The pain was almost 10 times more than her normal migraine (she could not speak because of the pain and was crying and screaming). She was positive for type A flu and further testing revealed she was positive for swine flu. However they could not explain her severe headache and the high blood pressure. Thought it was meningitis and did LP; they also did CT scans, etc. and could not find anything. She went through several CT scans, MRIs, MRVs, several blood tests and cultures, but still they could not find the reason for her severe throbbing/pulsating headache. She was put on high doses of morphine and several medications. She was in the hospital for 10 days.
