All states DO share their DMV files and honor each other's court decisions. Whether or not they will assess you the exact same number of points is unknown. Why don't you ask them?
Alabama will report the ticket and the violation to the Georgia DMV. If there are enough points on the GA teens license he could lose it because of that.
yes, they do.
Yes. It will go on your MVR in Kentucky for points.
Alabama does report speeding tickets to the state which the person receiving the ticket is licensed in. If you can take care of the matter in Alabama, by paying any fines or other requirements, you may be able to get the ticket dismissed so that it doesn't affect you in Georgia.
Yes it will. The points system is affected nationwide and thus, regardless of where you go, unless the jurisdiction prevents out-of-state points to affect the driver's license (which Kentucky does not), it will affect your driving record as well as your insurance points.
Yes, California will report it to Florida and The Florida DMV will assign points in accordance with Florida law.
if i have a ticket in California can i get a drivers license in Kentucky
Yes it does. Pennsylvania will report the speeding ticket to Wisconsin and it will be treated just as if it was received in Wisconsin.
My information is that the ticket will show for insurance points but not for drivers license points. You can verify with the MD DMV.
Since the points are added to your license based on the resident state and the the state of the ticket, it will not be any different from getting tickets in the state you live in. that is how it has worked for me with the tickets i have gotten in Virginia and other states.
You do not loose points on your license. You gain points. They usually fall off the DMV report in two years, and for insurance purposes three years. If you go to court the judge usually gives you less points than if you just mail the ticket in. Good luck.
The fine for a speeding ticket in Alabama for going 68 in a 55 miles per hour zone is $164.00. A ticket for improper passing in Alabama is also $164.
