You have an Eevee on heart gold you want an umbreon but it keeps trying to evolve into Espeon no matter what time of day it is whywont it evolve into umbreon?

It needs to be after 8:00pm, so make sure it's actually that time first. If not, it may that Eevee's evolution gets determined by the first time it tries to evolve, meaning that you may be stuck with an Espeon. (I'm not certain, so if someone could could confirm that, that would be great) You could just breed a new Eevee using a ditto and the Espeon (if you don't have a ditto other Pokemon work too (Pikachu is one of them)

I sugest leveling it up, giving it poke blocks, or giving it rare candys. Mine evolved at level 20, but the level doesn't matter. To evolve eevee into an Espion is to make it happy during the day. Giving it rare candys, poke blocks, or leveling it up will make it happy. The level doesn't really matter.

You can go to the foot step guy out side of pastoria city and he will tell you what your eevee thinks of you or you can check the friendship app. so once you'ev done these things your eevee should have two small hearts at least. then you need to level up your eevee to level 21 at night witch is between 8pm and 4am then you should have umbreon! espeon o the same like with umbreon but level eevee up between 4am and 8pm.
