You have downloaded hek for halo but but when you try to intall it it says you dont have halo custom edition but you do?

Try reinstalling Halo CE and getting the latest update (1.08) off of Bungie.net. It should work after that.

Why cant you play on any games on halo ce?
You need Halo custom edition to play all the maps, you then transfer all the maps you've downloaded onto the folder that contains the other maps in Halo custom edition If you are actally talking about the normal Halo combat evolved then I dont know what you are talking about and whoever answered this question before has no idea either
