I used mederma - it's a scar healing ointment. Basically that bump is a keloid, which is a type of scar. It took a few weeks, maybe a month to go away. I applied every night and washed thoroughly in the morning. Make sure to moisturize the area and don't pick at it - touch it if you haven't washed your hands!

Just use a q-tip and dab a bit on the bump every day after you clean your piercing in the morning. The oil will dry up the bump and it'll flake off until its gone. Don't overload on the oil because it'll dry the piercing out. Try your best to get it on the bump and not on or in the piercing.

Use a q-tip and just dab the bump with the oil. Use it after you clean your piercing. I usually apply it twice a day but if that's too harsh for your piercing, only use it once a day. You don't want it to go inside the piercing, just on the bump. The oil will dry out the bump and it'll start flaking off in layers. If the tea tree oil doesn't affect it, it could be the jewelry. Especially if its a ring and gets hit often.
