It can be removed surgically. I hear it can also be burned off by laser. Go to your GP and they might recommend you something. It could be sign of high cholesterol or another underlying disease like Diabetes mellitus.
I myself have this problem and am searching a way to get rid of it. I know my cholesterol is fine.
I want to cut it out but its hard need some sharp razer. I would of cut it and push it out myself but maybe better option would be to go to GP.
