I, personally, had much more severe cramps than I usually do while I was on the Pill, and returned to normal once I stopped taking it. The leaflet that came with my packs said cramping was a common side effect.

Does metamucil help with stomach noises?
I don't believe it does. in fact I think it can cause stomach noise. I have had awful stomach noises and been embarrassed in public so I stopped taking Metamucil and so far the sounds have stopped. Stomach nose comes from too much gas which can be caused by Metamucil or other foods.
