If you have no power to anything it sounds like a battery problem.
that can be because of the fuel pump relay,a severed wire to the fuel pump or the fuel pump fuse is blown.
well if you have fuel and a new filter a good fuel pump relay and the wires going to the fuel pump have power and no fuel pressure you need a fuel pump
No there is not, only ford used an Inertia switch.I would check the fuel pump relay and fuse first if fuel pump won't run. Then you need to make sure you have power back on the top of the fuel tank where the wiring connector hooks to the top of the fuel pump sending unit. If you have power there then replace fuel pump.
Check your fuel pump relay and fuse
You need to check the fuel pump, power to the fuel pump, fuel filter and anything else that might be related.
Blown fuel pump fuse, defective fuel pump relay, or loose or broken wiring.
Blown fuel pump fuse or defective fuel pump relay.
what would be the reason, i just put a new battery in car, but does not register power to headlights nor fuel pump
Check there is power to the fuel pump via the connector at the tank. Check fuel pump relay and fuses related to this. Or if there is a fuel cutout switch on this somehwere. If not, then need a fuel pump.
I would expect that the power for the fuel pump would be supplied through the ignition switch so I would start there, that is check the ignition switch.
You check for power at the pump. If you have power and ground, the pump is bad. If no, then you need to check the wiring including the fuse.
The fuel pump is located inside your gas tank. You would need to drop your gas tank and then remove the fuel pump. If you need to change the fuel pump, be sure to clean out you gas tank for and deposits or debris.
