Not necessarily. Bi-polar disorder usually manifests over a period of days, not instantly. It wouldn't hurt to talk about your mood swings with a counselor, though. Could make your life a lot more pleasant.
Mood swings are a symptom of bipolar; but that does not definitively mean you are bipolar; your best bet is to go to a doctor. There are times when you may have symptoms but not the disease.
If you are in a relationship with a girl that swings back and forward (males and females) the only thing you really can do is accept it. Try talking to her about how you feel and make sure she see's that there is nothing wrong with it.
put two bubles and shake really hard and the box in the upper right is a swing
Yes, stress makes Bipolar Disorder behavior worse. My daughter is Bipolar.
People really have mood swings. Sometimes these are minor and happen once in a while... this happens to most everyone, and is normal. Mood swings that are severe and completely out of your control are part of what is known as Bipolar Disorder. Bipolar, or bi polar, two poles, basically means part of the time you're happy, extremely happy, life is wonderful and good and funny and you feel fearless.... and then you don't. You wake up one day and just know it's going to be a bad day. You hurt profoundly, sometimes you do things you don't mean to, like pushing people away or being snippy. You have trouble helping it, you hurt so much. Sometimes when your really happy, or manic, you have trouble controlling your actions as well... doing things that are really out there, perhaps harmless, but out of character nontheless. If you think you're Bipolar, please reach out. Some of the most talented people of all time, famous artists and scientists and such, were Bipolar. It doesn't make you worth less than before or anything... it just mean's there's an imbalance in your brain that can be fixed with medication. There's coping mechanisms you can learn. You can have a normal life, a happy life, if you pursue treatment for severe mood swings. Most of all, know that others have experienced this before you, and your not alone.
it can make you blink
nothing really, other than make you feel pretty.
Nothing, really.
No, someone who is bipolar experiences extreme emotion swings, from opposite sides of the spectrum, often. They can go from bouncing off the walls happy to i hate the world angry with a difference of a few minutes. They do not however have mixed emotions happening simultaneously.
Bipolar people are very "changey." My brother is bipolar and sometimes he is the coolest, happiest guy in the world, then the next time I call him he won't talk, or he'll be really upset, or I won't be able to get ahold of him. There are a lot of ups and downs, sudden ones; it's not normal moods -- they are exaggerated. Anyway, yeah, if you think someone is bipolar try to get them to a psych. Chronic lying isn't a symptom of being bipolar, but only a qualified physician can make a real diagnosis.
Bipolar disorder is hereditary, but it is very common for it to skip generations. If a child doesn't actually have it, mimicking parents who do will not make them bipolar. However, as children mimic behavior; they may exhibit the symptoms of bipolar disorder.
No; bipolar is a very complex condition that needs constant tweaking of medication to control (but it is controllable). Marijuana is really pretty much the last thing a person with bipolar needs to add to the mix.take it from me i have lived with bi polar disorder for a few years and in my experience it has helped with my symptoms and doesn't make me feel zombie ish from meds
