There are several ways. Two ways would be to take it to a coin shop, or to sell it yourself.
If you sell it to a shop, there is no hassle, no chance of having unsatisfied buyers, no chance of losing money because of poor photos, and no chance of losing money because of your lack of experience. Not to mention it happens quick, and you instantly have the money in your hands.
Where as if you sell it online you may get more money, but you have to deal with all the shipping, all the unhappy customers, and messing around with grading each coin, and individually photographing each coin.
Final Summation,
Take it to a coin shop.
You can sell such a coin to a coin dealer or a collector. Dealers buy coins for as little as they can with the intent of reselling them at a profit whereas a collector buys them to keep in a collection for maybe years at a time. With that in mind you may get a better price if you sell to a collector.
Most gifts can be sold for Farm Coins. If you receive something you don't need from a neighbor, you can accept the gift anyway. It will be added to your Gift Box in the game. From there, you can sell the items. Many things won't yield many coins (extra collection items, for example, only sell for 5 coins), but if you need the coins, it is worth the few extra clicks to get it and sell it.
We have a very large collection of Tom Clark gnomes. Want to sell entire collection. If interested email : pdoctorjim
Sell to Numismatic Assets Inc in New York. They paid me the fairest prices for all of my coins and bullion. Give them a try.
Yes! They have a large variety of designer fashion jewelry.
Even if the roll is a original bank wrapped roll of uncirculated coins, Ike dollars do not have large retail values and don't sell very well because they are so common. Circulated 1977 Ike dollars are face value only. Uncirculated coins do sell at $2.00-$5.00 for high grade coins but most dealers will only pay $1.05-$1.25 each.
