First you must remove the seat, fuel tank and if your bike has side fairings it is best to remove them; to get to the airbox. There should be 2 bolts (usually 10mm or 12mm), one on either side of the airbox that bolts it to the frame, remove these. Now you will need to get a long Phillips screwdriver and loosen the clamps that hold the airbox "tubes" (on the bottom) to the carbs. After that it should just pull right off.

loosen clamp on airbox ..disconnect throttle and choke cables & hoses and fuel lines...take out the 2 10mm bolts holding each boot to the engine(4)boots.. seperate boots from carbs on right side and remove the Mikuni aluminum plate lft side and pull the carbs out the left side..
You need to make sure you are getting plenty of carbs, which is what your body converts into energy. Also drink plenty of water.

Major tune up time. Replace plugs and filters and do a valve job. Make sure the carbs are synched. If this fails to improve things, get your carbs worked on.
