I have the same problem
My mother owns a framed print of the original painting where the artist's signature was also printed at the bottom right of the painting. Jesus is holding up his LEFT HAND in this painting. If the painting were reversed as in many reproductions of this particular one, you will notice the artist's signature is absent because it will otherwise be in reverse as well. Hope this helps!
I have a picture that fits that description and number, as well. If you learn anything, I would appreciate having the information, too!
I, too, have a Joan Kickbush painting of a large headed child with an Alaskan doll framed in burlap. In 2005, it was valued by a gallery in Alaska for $1700.00. Hope this helps.
early 1970's landscape. 4" X 15" framed oil painting.
You can take your painting to a reputable art dealer who can assess the authenticity and worth of your painting. If the painting is framed, do not remove the frame. It can cause damage and devalue your artwork.
sorry, that question can only be answered by someone who is an expert in that era of painting and has had a chance to examine the painting in person. They'll know more about the painters who were active at that time and what their paintings are worth today.
I don't know the value. I have 2 watercolors by the same artist dated 1968. Anybody?
A photo, a painting, a diploma, or a certificate can be framed.

Yes, it can be (framed painting, framed suspect). The word framed is the past tense and past participle of the verb (to frame), which can mean to place in a frame or border, or colloquially to falsely incriminate an innocent person.
i have the painting framed and signed and think it maybe the original

I have the same painting. Oil over canvas. It came from my mother in laws house. Her mother in law gave it to her many years ago. My father in law had it re stretched and framed, and gave it to me for a birthday gift. The man who framed it was very interested in buying it from my father in law, but would not give us any information on the artist or painting. The dimensions of my painting are aprox. 18"x 24". S. Ferlecki I have the original not a reproduction and it is beautiful. it is unframed and oil on canvas. Im trying to get an appraisal. the reproductions and prints are going any where from 50 to 100.00 so far. wdarcywood@aol.com
