Check wiring again. Check for bad ground. Recheck all connections.
If it is air suspension, it is best to convert to regular suspension. You can buy replacement coils spings to replace the air bags. The springs come with instructions. Changing the air bags was fairly simple, but the shocks were more difficult. The shocks do not have to be changed at the same time. Try googling strutmasters. The air system on my Grand Marquis started giving me problems the rear started sagging to begin with. It took me a month to get the new air springs in I got those installed and about two months later the compressor went out. After reading up on it I found out this is kind of a repetitive problem so I ordered a conversion from www.strutmasters.com and I've happy with it since I got it installed. Good Luck
A portable air compressor would be one small enough to carry or has wheels on it so it can be rolled where you need it , a stationary compressor stays where it is installed
Usually the shaft seal is installed from inside the compressor housing and is not serviceable. You would need to replace the compressor.
you will be looking around 1500-2000 for one installed. The compressor alone will be around 850-900.
motorcraft and is oem
From what I've been able to find out researching our 97 Expedition, the cabin air filter is not a factory installed item. If you have one, it would have been dealer installed.
As long as you have a heater strip installed on the compressor, you will not have a problem.
Low pressure relay is bad! Check freon pressure, if it falls too low, the compressor will not run (installed for safet of compressor)
Was the proper amount fo oil installed in the compressor and accumulator when they were replaced? That is the reason ,I, as a repair shop owner will NOT use a remanufactured compressor.
If the compressor doesn't start remove all the relays and circuitry installed on it and measure the resistance of the windings A video detailing the process can be found in related links.
Located below the A/C compressor, it has the lower radiator hose attached to it and is held on by (2) 10mm bolts. You can change it with the A/C compressor installed, but will find it easier with the A/C compressor loose and out of the way.
It must be installed by a gunsmith.
