Make sure the computer is not in "mute" mode.
It likely that you plugged your headphones into the wrong jack. There should be a jack for your headphones on your computer that has the head-phones label on it, not the one with speakers or for a microphone.
No some can be plugged into speakers.
Turn the sound all the way down While the headphones are not plugged in.
You can't play sound through BOTH at the same time. The audio jack is basically a switch. When nothing's plugged into it, the sound is directed to the speakers. If you plug headphones or another set of speakers into it, the audio sgnal is diverted to whatever youi've plugged into the socket.
this happened to me. the speakers on my Laptop wouldn't work but when i plugged in my headphones, it worked fine. what i recommend is for you to take a pair of headphones and plug them into a slot with a microphone icon that is usually next to your headphone slot. ! it worked for me!! best of luck!
Internal speakers are speakers that are mounted inside electronic items such as computers or radios. Unlike an iPod, which requires headphones plugged in, equipment with internal speakers do not require headphones or other speakers to be plugged in.
Generally speakers are plug-and-play. If you have tried that and it didn't work go to your control panel to 'Sounds and Audio Devices' to 'Speaker settings' then 'Advanced' and change the scroll bar to 'Headphones'
Well I had my MP3 player plugged into some computer speakers and it didn't die, this was the same plug you find on headphones and earphones, so if it fits it should work. It probably won't work with stereo speakers but I haven't tested that yet.
yes of course, you'll need earphones or headphones or speakers plugged in tho, just once theyre plugged in, press the musical note button to switch to different equalizer boosters :) hope this helps
use the force
No. Not all of the computer speakers have to be plugged in. You can just use the 2 front speakers and add rear ones at a later date.
you can tell its a speaker if its a box or shell, and one end has a grate or mesh covering, there will be a wire coming out of the side opposite to the grill. this wire needs to be plugged into your amp, computer, or sub woofer, depending on your PC audio setup, for more information, contact your PC manufacturer, or try www.fixya.com. Now onto headphones. you can recognize headphones by their distictive "U" shape. there will be bulbus ends on this "U" shape and on the inner part will be soft cusions. you want to invert this "u" so it looks like "n", then place the cusions over your ears so as to sit comfortably and completely cover them. plug the wire into a hole of the smae size with a picture of the headphones themselves near it, or the word "headphones". In all cases, a plugged in speaker or headphone will sound out if you play a song, etc. while plugged in.
