Should you wear white dress to wedding?

No, because white is the bride's color......just like you wouldn't want someone to go to your wedding looking better than you, wearing white to a wedding says the same thing to the bride. Unless the one of wedding colors is white or the bride speficially ask you to wear white.....DON'T DO IT!?!

What is the name of the holy book that is read from in a Jewish wedding?

At a wedding, the only thing which is read is the ketubah: the marriage contract in which the bride and groom pledge their obligations.

Why would my boyfriend's sister invite his ex gilfriend to her wedding?

It could be a "crazy making" action to bother him and his bride. It could be she is ignorant that you don't do that. It could be a revenge thing. It could be the ex-girlfriend got her to do that out of jealousy. It is wrong for her to show up and she needs to be told that. It is not nice to get the Bride and Groom upset. It is the Bride's wedding not the ex-girlfriend's wedding.

How can you have a free wedding ceremony?

There is no such thing as a totally free wedding ceremony. If the couple get married by the Justice of the Peace there is a fee; if they have a traditional wedding then the bride's parents pay most of the costs and the groom's parents pay less of a cost for that wedding and reception.

What is the thing you walk down at a wedding?

The walkway between pews in a church is called an aisle. The wedding party and bride walk down the aisle to the front of the church. (The groom can enter from any door. He does not walk down the aisle in a formal procession, but waits at the altar for his bride.) However, other weddings not in church do not use a structural "aisle". They might place a "runner", often made of satin, across a lawn to create an "aisle" between chairs for seating.

Is it proper for the grooms parents to pay for all out of town guests along with the wedding party?

The groom's parents are only responsible for paying out of town guests at rehearsal dinner for: Parents of the bride (some parents are divorced and one ex may live out of town or both live out of town, but often the out of town parents of the bride will pay their own way if they can financially afford it); Maid of honor; bridesmaids; flower girl or ring bearer. Any other relatives or friends that are not in the wedding party should pay their own way.

Do you have to include someone in your wedding party because you were in theirs?

What do bride and groom pay for?

This question has gotten so out of hand, its hard to say in todays society. If you want the traditional payouts, go to your local library and get a book on weddings, in there it will give you the traditional expectations and some updated ones. I got married in 1989 and back then the only thing my husband payed for was the wedding rings, his tux. The girls PARENTS pay for the church, limo's, reception, etc. The grooms parents can kick in too but usually only if asked. The people in the wedding party pay for their own outfits and hopefully, the bride is respectful of everyone's financial means, so as not to pick outrageously priced attire. The bride and the groom usually split the honeymoon expenses. The groomsmen split paying for the bachelor party and the bridesmaids with help of both mothers pay for the shower. Get the book, its an easier guide for nowadays.

How long can you wait to have a wedding reception after cerEmony?

I feel that it is completely up to the bride and groom. There really is no specific time. The only thing I can suggest is maybe an hour after wedding so people can go change and freshen up a little before the reception.

Can you sue someone if they cancel a wedding?

Yes. There are many expenses relating to a wedding and many must be paid ahead of time such as music, catering, photography, gowns, flowers, rentals, etc. If the groom backs out at the last minute he can be sued for damages.
