First of all, I understand your embarrassment, but menstruation is a very natural thing. It happens to every woman. Are you embarrassed about talking to your mom, or embarrassed about giving the note to your coach? I'm sure your mom can write it in such a way that there will be no need to be afraid of handing it to your coach. Ask her to write something such as, "Please excuse my daughter from practice this week, she is not feeling well." I'm sure your mom will save you from getting embarrassed.
Actually, have you told your mum you have you period? If so why not ask her briefly for some tampons. I was embarrassed when it came to my swimming so if you don't have the guts to ask your mum for a tampon. I wrote her a note saying "mum, I need a tampon for swimming." It will work out! Promise :)
Because it's a natural, unavoidable thing. Might as well be embarrassed about getting hungry, or sneezing.
tampons if you are swimming etc but if in the bath, nothing :)
Swimming during your period is fine as long as you wear a tampon which should be changed before and after you go swimming
It depends on what you meant by dirty underwear. If you've made love and may have some spotting from a period, then no, you should not be embarrassed. Young men know about those things. If you are not practicing good hygiene then yes, you should be embarrassed and it's a signal for you to practice good hygiene. Good job Marcy. Girls typically get embarrassed too much for no reason.
you either have to stop or wear a tampon
The obvious answer is to make your self more flexible.
Yes because they are hard to get on.
yes you can go swimming when you have your period. If you want to do this then its best to use a tampon. Just find what type of tampon suits you and you should be fine.
Yes, It gives people a chance to express their inner swimming. Those who love swimming should swim and those who don't have swimming pool should be able to swim at school. Those who dislike swimming should not have to swim.<some people cant swim>
Just wash out the chemicals, you should be fine. Just don't go swimming after the relaxer because it is bad for your hair.
Personally, I wouldn't, because I think it's just like listing all the things you don't want your bf/gf to do, and they could think that your a control freak. And if your bf/gf is embarrassing you, say quietly and gentle that you would prefer them not to do that. Again, this is totally up to you.
I would say no, not because it would hurt your infection, but because you would spread it to everybody else who is swimming in the pool. You should just work on curing your infection, then going swimming.
