That would mean either Ford or the dealer has a policy for the age and type of car you purchased
Used cars without Ford warranty are usually sold as is
The "other brand" dealer I work for has an unofficial policy of repairing things that go bad in the first 30 days or so, just to keep the customer happy called "Good Will"
But as far as returning or making them pay when they won't good luck.
