There is only two ways to fix this problem.
easy way,...drain fuel tank, remove fuel filter, install fresh fuel, crank engine until the fuel line pumps new clean fuel, replace fuel filter, crank till engine starts. If engine does not start, loosen up fuel line connectors at engine block so the clean fuel can pump out the remainder of durty fuel. when the durty fuel is removed gently tighten the injector fuel lines back till they stop leaking. Engine should start.
If the engine fails to start you may have a damaged fuel lift pump which has to be replaced. If it still doesnt start you probly have damaged your fuel injector pump aswell, which is very expensive to repair. Good luck
If you put petrol in a diesel vehicle do not start the engine. Petrol will do serious damage to a diesel engine. You must drain all the petrol out and flush the fuel lines.
The diesel battery is bigger as it take a lot more to get a diesel engine going. Best bet is to charge the diesel battery using the petrol, connect the 2 and leave the petrol engine running.
The engine will not start or run.
If it is a diesel engine it could be the glow plugs.
no it would make the car break down
Diesel run in any petrol engine will do damage if you can keep the engine running for a long period of time. A petrol engine will not start and run on diesel fuel alone Posted by Danny from Bee Mech Mobile Mechanics
When petrol is mixed with diesel engine the engine will not start due to the following reasons;Fuel in diesel must be compressed at 400o and above to approach compression power while petrol start at 150oPetrol have lower density than that used in diesel enginePetrol use spark ignition lather pressure ignitionPetrol have different octane number than that used in diesel enginePetrol fuel cannot produce much power as that produced in diesel engine with real diesel fuel. Will not accomplish diesel engine phases
Yes if you attempt to start vehicle
Diesel engines have a much higher compression ratio than a petrol engine, meaning that they compress a larger volume of air into, for arguments sake, the same space as a comparitive petrol. This requires more torque to turn the engine over but results in a bigger bang. Which is why they are hard to start as they need a bigger electric motor to start them and are almost imposible to clutch start
Those cars use petrol and diesel as fuel are the main source of pollution. As the fuel has start
1) Put key in ignition 2) Turn key Good things come to those who wait :-)
There are a number of reasons for this, but varies between petrol and diesel. Diesels dont like the cold. The diesel engines in the 75 are BMW common rail engines.
