Everyone has their own sleep needs. The healthy amount of sleep is 8 to 9 and a half hours, but I find that if I am aloud to sleep as long as I want, I am ready to wake up after 11 hours. Also, if you have a lot of stress in your life and are thinking about a lot, you can feel generally more tired.
Personally I think that it could be due to two possible causes - poor quality of sleep or lack of motivation / depression.
