When you stop using the patch how long will it be before what if your period starts?

You should put on your next patch on schedule, regardless of bleeding. If you're still bleeding when that date comes, put it on anyway. If you stop bleeding before that date, you'll still be protected.

Do you put the patch on if you're still on your period?

You should put on and remove the patches as scheduled regardless of vaginal bleeding.

When do you restart the patch after your period?

Maintain your patch change day irrespective of when your period begins and ends during your 'patch free' week. For example, if your patch change day is a Saturday and during the 'patch free' week happen to continue bleeding on the Saturday of that week, still restart the patch on that day.

Does the birth control patch work during your period?

If you use it correctly for at least one week, the birth control patch is effective even if you're bleeding. You still have protection during the patch-free week if you used the patch correctly in the previous weeks.

Do you still have a period while on the patch?

No, you don't want to wear the patch during mestruation. However if this is your first time using this method of birth control and you chose to do a "Sunday start" then you will apply the patch on the first Sunday after you have started menstruating. This is ok if you are still "bleeding" because your body will eventually even its cycle out. Your doctor should be able to help answer any other questions or go to: www.orthoevra.com

If you dont start your period the week you leave the patch off do you still put one on 7 days later?

Yes, you should put on the new patch on schedule regardless of bleeding. If you made a mistake in the prior month with your patch, or if you're having symptoms of pregnancy, take a pregnancy test.

Why are you still bleeding after your period is over with two days ago and then you started back?

I have the same thing happening to me. I had a "regular" period this month, then three or four days later I started bleeding again, very heavy, even for my period when it usually starts and the blood is bright red.

You think you ovulated about 2weeks ago and now about 7 days after that you started bleeding and it is still going on now it has been about 9 days Could this be implantation bleeding?

No, sounds like a period
