German Measles.
A vaccine contains the pathogen ( a foreign body which causes diseases/illnesses) which the virus is designed to provide protection for ie: a flu vaccine will contain a flu virus, measles has the measles virus etc... - but they have been treated so they are in effect dead and so will cause no symptoms, your body can only recognise a pathogen, it does not know that it is dead and can not harm you,so your body produces antibodies ( cells that fight off and remove pathogens from the body) to fight this vaccine, the antibodies remain in the body forever (unless you have an autoimmune/immunodeficiency illness) so when you come into contact with say the flu your body already has the antibodies and you don't get sick because your body removes the pathogen before it gets chance to take hold.
Not at all. By MMR, I don't know if you're refering to the set of diseases (measles, mumps and rubella) or the MMR vaccine designed to immunize a person against such diseases. Either way, genetic deafness is caused by genetic factors as the name suggests. A vaccine or a virus is not going to alter your DNA to cause deafness.
Normal measles is caused by the Rubeola virus. You most likely got vaccinated for it as a child - it's a part of the MMR (measles mumps rubella) vaccine. Make sure not to confuse Rubeola (normal measles) with Rubella (German measles) as they're slightly different viruses :)Does anybody know because I really need to know for my science stuff and I don't have a clue! Help please. Many Thanks.chocolate
what is it you want to know, please be more specific
I know that one of the complications is increased risk of miscarrage.
i dont know., lets go with no
i do know not thing
Pregnant women are very very fragile. The best advise for this question is that you should not ski while pregnant. This is for safety precautions for your baby. And this si to avoid further complications. So it's safe not to ski while pregnant.
I believe that most doctors in the US are in favor of them. They know that the side effects and complications from these medicines are uncommon. They know that many of their patients have more risk without a vaccination than they have with getting one. The pandemic swine flu was especially hard on young children and pregnant women, to name two groups. Doctors who belong to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) agreed that they would encourage their patients who could, to get their vaccinations.
You will know if you are pregnant if you miss your period.
i have heard it said that you can have measles twice, but both a family member and i have had the measles 5 times. i don't know if you can have it more than 5 times.
