After taking one that did not show a result @ all, then took the 2nd and it was neg. This last was a light positive line.

I bet you probably took the HPTs first thing in the morning with concentrated urine. Then you went to the doctor's office later and said "I think I'm pregnant" and the nurse said "just pee in this pot". That is why the hormone level was too low, because you had had a couple of cups of whatever you drink. If this is not the case then I apologise, but it sounds as if you are pregnant. HPTs are 99% accurate if positive.
