According to me the place where they provide best PLC training should provide with complete study on PLC hardware, its programming from basics to project level by providing complete guidance to any industrial projects, then communication with PLC SCADA HMI VFD, Master slave communication with PLC to PLC communication, a complete study on Instruments used and its communication and finally we should know how to design a PLC panel according to Industrial Standards. then finally troubleshooting it. I have seen for myself the one and only institute providing these things are from smeclabs. I can recommend this place because i have seen some of the Engineers who have worked in industry is teaching there. for your reference their website is wwwdotsmeclabsdotcom
plc technician means work with automated systems and develop the logic ,hmi and also attend the any faults during running industry. dramji555@gmail.com
A control device, normally used in industrial control applications, that employs the hardware architecture of a computer and a relay ladder diagram language. Also known as programmable logic controller.
A rack mounted PLC refers to specific types of programmable logic controllers. Rack mounted PLCs can be used in any machine or application that has a control panel.

A modular PLC is use mainly for complex task such as manufacturing of precision equipment
unitary PLC's are used in standalone systems as the have limited inputs and outputs, theses are mainly used in small scale engineering companies in operations such as control operations, component counting and sorting.
I'm not sure what you mean, if you mean what is PLC (the school) is stands for Presbyterian Ladies College, the website is http://www.plc.vic.edu.au/default.aspx if you want to take a look.
