When going up to a bigger size piece of jewelry, you have to make sure that you have been stretching slowly and allowing time to heal. Usually, if you've allowed time to heal there should be little to no amount of bleeding. The best way to do it (unless going into a shop and having the stretch your ears) is to go up size by size, allow a month (give or take) for healing and then stretch again.

Are you suppose to bleed after a lip piercing?

i would say no, you should go back to the peircer and complain... You Shouldent Go Back To The Piercer To Complain, You Should Have Taken Better Care Of Your New Piercing, I Suggest You Clean It Really Well Because Usally When It Bleeds That Means Your Eather Playing With It Too Much Or Its Infected, If You Cant Get It To Stop Bleeding Withen The Next Few Days Go To A Piercer Or A Doctor To Have It Checked.

Would it help if you pit ice on your dimple piercing if you have a lump around it?

NO. It'd help if you went to a piercing shop and asked them what was wrong with your piercing. The lump around it could be a sac of infection.

You went to the beach and you had sand all over the piercing is it infected?

The bottom Of your belly Piercing is full of pus and when you go to clean it the pus is a yellowish green color is the piercing infected?

Not at all - because you went to a reputable piercing salon, your belly ring is just secreting anti-microbial compounds to prevent such an infection from happening. Good call.

Can you get your bely button pierced if you have a small bellybutton?

You should be able to have it pierced, but it may be just the top part. The piercing artist I went to gave me a five minute consultation to ensure it was a possibility to have it pierced like I wanted to (I wanted both the top and the bottom pierced). I recommend you visit your local piercing shop and ask them to take a look. :)

Are retainers good for an unhealed lip piercing?

Ive had my lip piercing done for 3 1/2 weeks, I ordered a lip retainer when school told me to take out my metal stud. I went to my trusted piercer and ask them to put in my retainer , they had mega trouble getting it in (even with Vaseline ) and told me to go home and try in a couple days after the piercing was less irritated ( during my time at the piercers , my piercing went red, and swollen) ... The next day I sea salt soaked it, and rubbed alot of vaseline on my piercing and the retainer , it slipped in after 2 tries... About half an hour my piercing wasn't red , and the swelling went straight down again . I think retainers are excellent ... My piercing is healing alot quicker then my sisters lip piercing ( shes always had metal bars) . Just be careful not to irritate it, have a couple attempts and if not going in then leave it till the next day. But overall , go for it! First off, don't use vaseline. Its WAY too thick and prevents proper ventilation so it actually makes things worse. You can use vitamin E oil as lubrication instead. Glass or bioplast retainers are fine o use because they can autoclaved. Go to yourpiercer and they should have some in stock.
