how was H. cecil booth like?
There ARE no websites that teach "EVERYTHING" about firearms- I have been a student of firearms for over 50 years, and I am still learning. Firearms are an incredibly broad topic- I would suggest you narrow down your interests a lot, and find some specific aspect of firearms you would like to study. That might be the history of firearms, rifle target shooting, hunting, skeet shooting, etc.

No, not really. Yet, when he was shot by Booth the entire south wept for him. No one would help Booth and he wrote in his diary that the south would be happy and help him. He thought he was going to be a hero.
Depends on how you look at it. They know that firearms are multi billion dollar a year business and they know they would like to tap into it. Firearms have so many laws around them that extend to the seller and even the processor. As a firearm owner myself I know that there are cities, businesses and institutions which would like to rid the nation of firearms hence why their are so many new laws. Just like they did with tobacco they opted not to deal with firearms due to future headaches.
