The hall sensor can be found on top of a Volkswagen Passat engine. The sensor is placed under the valve cover next to the timing belt.
It's on the passenger side of the front of the engine. It is underneath the timing cover just to the right of the cam.
In front of the engine top (under the tining belt cover) you will easily see the connector plug. To change part you will have to unclip the cover.
It is located under the grey engine cover on top of the engine. I have yet to figure out to remove it. VW ensures it is hard to remove, to protect the dealers...
its on the engine, look at the plastic cover coverring the manifold etc, right on the front it will say the AUG or AWM letters
On a Passat, the battery is located under the hood. It is under the cowl panel and requires the removal of the battery cover to see it.
The radiator is located beneathe a plastic cover in front of the engine, between the headlight housings. Follow the upper radiator hose to locate it.
They are under the plastic engine cover. You will see 4 or 6 coil packs depending on the engine. Using an Allen wrench remove the coil packs and you can then remove the plugs. Be sure the engine is cold or you can ruin the threads in the head since it is aluminum.
The VW Passat cigarette lighter fuse can be found in the fuse box. The location of the fuse will be listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.
