If your 1995 Buick Roadmaster won't start after changing the water pump, it could be due to a few reasons. One possibility is that a component was accidentally disconnected or damaged during the repair, such as a wiring harness or the ignition system. The "clunk clunk" sound might indicate a problem with the starter or that the engine is not turning freely, possibly due to timing issues or a misalignment. It's advisable to double-check all connections and ensure no tools or debris were left in the engine bay, and consider checking the battery and starter as well.
You're a clunk-head...
Your transmission will slip and clunk or bang when changing gears, can have trouble changing thru the rand of gears, ans will eventually over heat and burn out.
I'm going to assume its an automatic transmission. Is the millage higher than 50,000? If so try changing the transmission fluid.
Some could be's, Bad u-joints in driveshaft, Bad transmission mount. Transmission cross member loose.
A centipede with a wooden leg
It shouldn't ...
If the clunk is most noticeable at takeoff or when coming to a stop, the u-joints on the drive shaft probably need to be replaced.
You may have U-Joint problems

Don't switch on the fly, that's just stupid. You'll need a whole system overhaul.
