Sounds like a bad head gasket
in a diesel engine, no power and blowing white smoke, indicates a bad turbo on the engine
overheating of the engine.
white smoke can be either your car overheating, or smoke from an electrical issue
You need to double check that coolant, white smoke is a sure sign of a blown head gasket, especially when added to an overheating issue.
white smoke blown head gasket that's for sure..........................................................
you take it to a mechanic
its farting
it would cause overheating but the smoke is probally coming from some sort of water or antifreeze in combustion chamber
under the engine block is wet and it is blowing a lot of white smoke
You can drive a diesel engine, or any other type, blowing any colour smoke you wish. Though it is pretty foolish to smoke
The white smoke coming from the exhasut is a sign then engine has a blown head gasket. Coolant is getting into the combustion chamber and appears as white smoke at the exhaust. Maybe this is why the car has sat for 2 years?
change the head gaskets
