I also noticed that it goes off for no reason when I lock the doors with the lock switch on the inside and shut the door and the alarm set icon illuminates and stays on for a little bit. Sometimes I lock the doors from the inside and shut the driver's door and the alarm icon will blink...then the alarm is fine and will not go off for no reason. When the icon does not blink, instead it stays illuminated and then, after a few moments, darkens, then be ready to race out to the car when the alarm goes off. I wish I could disable it or figure out exactly how it works.
