One down, four up
Wont shift while engine is on? Is it an automatic or a manual? if you put more information I can put a more reasonable answer.
Try twisting it and then get a manual for it. Try Chiltons or Haynes.
my 1995 Civic has 441,000 miles on the original trans and motor. but most last about 350k to 375k easy.
Slave cylinder no bueno
obd2 code po734 inproper gear ratio = speed sensor
It probably has a rev limiter built into the computer.
auto or man? auto change trans filter and add new trans fluid I'd use lucis trans fluid. cable could be streached
Your trans fluid could be low or your trans is on it's way out the door. Some cars, reverse is the first to go.Good luck.If the fluid is not low, drop the pan replace the filter and put a trans additive in when you fill it up after the trans service. The best additive is called trans-x.
Probably a defective speed sensor in the trans.
