Yes. Park on a level surface. Start the engine and leave it in park. Pull out the stick and wipe it off. Insert it back into the transmission. Pull it out again and read the level.
there is no dip stick for a manual transmission .there is a bolt on the side of the trans you have to pull then stick your finger in ..if you can touch it its ok
Assuming you have the auto transmission and not manual, there's a transmission dipstick near the firewall. Pull that stick and follow the instructions that are inscribed on it. Most manufacturers want the transmission totally up to temperature (hot) and the engine running while checking the fluid level. Cheers
Pull the transmission dip stick and read it. It will tell you the recommended ATF for that trans.
Go under the car look at the oil filter and follow across to driver side there is a yellow dip stick with a 12mm bolt pull bolt and pull dip stick
I believe that is Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid , pull your transmission dip stick out and confirm with printing on dip stick
Most likely it will take mercon transmission fluid. Not to be confused with mercon V transmission fluid. To be sure pull the transmission stick out and read the side of the stick. It will tell you what fluid to use.
If it's an auto-trans you'll need to pull the pan.
The automatic transmission will have a dip stick location on a 1982 Honda Civic. Pull the dip stick to see the color and texture of the fluid.
Leave the car runnning and pull the dip stick
This is not a question, but if youre trying to ask if it is possible, then yes. How to fix? Pull out the tube, replace the o-ring, put a little RTV on it, and stick the tube back in.
