most bettas will eat what you put in the tank. if he does not eat it try feeding it to him less. bettas can go for up to 4 days, sometimes more without food. It can also depend on what the fish is used to being fed. It is not in an animals nature to allow itself to starve to death. Once the idea sinks in that this is as good as its gonna get, the fish will eat.
The owl pellet remans in the owls rectum until the owl decides it would be a good time to puke it out.

When your Betta fish is fasting it means it is not eating, this usually happens after the Betta has bred and it will not eat until all the Betta eggs are hatched.
Most likely. I would wait until the little betta is around 3 cm (3/4 inch) Make sure the betta's are the different sex because two males will fight (often until death)
A male Betta will attempt to kill any other Betta in its immediate vicinity. An adult female Betta would be courted and if she responds and breeds with him he will not kill her until after she has spawned. She should be removed from the breeding tank immediately after spawning has ceased.
Male Betta's do not have babies. The female lays the eggs, the male fertilizes them and then takes care of them in a "bubble nest" that he builds until they hatch.
Simple. Betta fish are territorial. They see movement, and color as a threat. They will do this even to the females until maybe mating season.
Yes, until they agree on who is stronger. Once that's settled they're usually fine.
They don't defend. They just attack until one of them dies.
Pellet guns are safe so long as safety rules are followed, same as firearms. # Always consider the gun loaded. # Do not point the gun at anything you do not intend to shoot. # Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target. Pellet guns are intended for target shooting and small game hunting. They are not intended to be fired at people. A pellet will cause severe damage to an unprotected eye and will break skin. Some higher-powered pellet guns have enough power to embed the pellet in muscle.
Until one dies. Soon. Please separate them!
