Mites typically look like wet coffee grounds in the ear. There is no reason to give benedryl.. it's not going to fix the problem. If it has mites you can give revolution or advantage multi, both products are pretty cheap and you can get them at your local vet office. Either way she should be seen by a vet to make sure there isn't an infection.
