How much dry rice did he eat? Other than going to the vet, which I know we all sometimes cringe at that with the high costs, I would give the dog some meat broth, naturally the dog will not keep drinking water unless its thirsty, but he needs fluid to expel it. Check with the vet and see if you can do this, maybe they will advise this. boil some beef, chicken, turkey in about 1/2 gallon of water, give 2 C at a time, see if he goes, see how he is feeling. If he don't do his business go to the vet.
