Eating their own feces means its not getting they right nutrition. They have a bad diet. Check your dog food and make sure it is appropriate for your dogs age, breed, size and activity level. To make them stop eating feces, pick it up after they have relieved themselves so they can't eat it.

∙ 13y agoIt's a natural behavior and defense mechanism against predators. As soon as your dog realizes that their aren't any bears trying to break into your backyard to eat it, it will stop the behavior.
