Poor dog! Try bathing the dog in some shampoo made for dogs (note that the pH of dog shampoo is usually different than it is in shampoo for humans since dogs' skin and fur need a different pH level) and see what happens. Also, try a thorough brushing after each bath--many people don't realize it, but a good proper brushing is often just as good as a water bath for dogs in terms of controlling odor and discoloration. You might you have a better result simply from brushing than from bathing. (It all depends on what kind of coat your dog has.)
If these things don't work, there are lots of home remedies you can try--but I'd personally contact your veterinarian or a professional, reputable dog groomer for the next step. Ultimately, the red isn't bad for your dog, but excessive shampooing might cause skin problems, and the stained hair will shed soon anyway. Whatever you do, don't use harsh chemicals like hydrogen peroxide or bleach, which will inflame or burn the dog's skin and damage the fur.
Label says 3 days. I would still rinse.
no you will not. <><><><><> Rinse well with running water. If they stay irritated or you have vision problems see an ophthalmologist.
to hold slides for staining or in between stains to rinse excess away with water
First, wet the tomato. Then, using a small amount of dishwashing detergent and a wet dishcloth, clean the tomato the same way you would a fragile piece of glassware. Rinse the tomato clean, and that's all there is to it.
You can remove stains on ceramic tiles with bleach. Put on gloves and use straight bleach with a scrub brush. After you get the stain off, clean the area with a mild soap and rinse.
Rub a couple of drops of dish soap directly into the stain. Rinse it in the sink. Keep repeating until it is gone. Make sure to rinse all of the soap out of it before putting it in the actual wash.
Coffee stains are not very difficult to remove. Washing it with detergent should be enough. If you have cream in your coffee you may want to rinse the stain in cold water first, or wash it on a cool water cycle.
If the stains were made by a washable marker, they will come out if you wash them in the washing machine with hot water. If they were made by permanent marker there is no guarantee that it will come out. Pretreat the shoelaces, rinse them, and soak them in bleach if they are white.
Rinse the fabric in cold water. Pretreat it if the stains are very bad. Then wash it in a cold water cycle.
The stain should be treated differently depending on the type of juice. Citrus juices and many berry juices are tannin stains, just wash them in hot water and the stain should be gone. Cherry juices and Kool-Aid are dye stains, pretreat them, rinse them, and then wash them.
Tomato JUICE has been used for some time, but does not work that well. Try this- 2 cups water, 1 cup hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, tsp of shampoo or liquid dish detergent. If an animal was sprayed, wash them in the solution, keeping it out of their eyes. Rinse within 2-3 minutes with lots of warm water. May cause dark fur to bleach somewhat.
Just rinse the clothes. The soap should wash away in the water. The easiest way to do this is probably to put them in the washer.
