Check the throttle position sensor
bad fuel pump. Giving gas makes the engine demand more gas. The fuel pump cannot provide for the engine therefore no gas to complete combustion.
It's probably your IAC.
it chokes and dies duuhh
Alot of things.. bad gas.. No gas.. Engine is dead.. etc.
Inadequate fuel pressue probably. Check fuel pressure with proper gauge.
It means it takes more gas to get the engine going
Push in the clutch and give it more gas.
Replace the Fuel Filter. I had the same problem with my 87 Wrangler... For me it turned out to be fuel filter was clogged even though it was semi-new.
An engine will stall when you give it gas if it does not have the correct mixture of fuel and air. This is controlled by the carburetor or throttle body and may need adjustment.
check your fuel pump and or filter
I unplugged air censor under hood on top right side engine flat black box to see if that was the problem and it was
could be flooding, timing, filters, old fuel so many things.
