Your going to have to respect his wishes and give him some space and time. Unfortunately in most cases this relationship is over and you are going to have to come to terms with that as he has made his choice. Take this time for yourself, sort out your feelings and allow yourself the time to get over this to move on. Move forward with your head up and think of this as a new start. Don't jump into another relationship any time soon, just take this time and find yourself - learn from this relationship and be thankful of the time you did have with this person. People come and go throughout our lives and they will all leave us with something whether it be negative or positive and we learn from these situations.
