With a lifespan of only about three months, it will never heal. The best thing to do would be to put the grasshopper out of its misery or just set it free and let nature take it's course.
There's not much you can do. Hope for the best and let it live.
The nicest thing to do is to kill it to put it of of it's misery
There is nothing you can do to help the grasshopper, so the kindest thing would be to turn it lose and let nature take its course.
take it to a vet and also take a couple more to play with.
No, I do not have a broken leg, i had a broken arm but not a broken leg
If someone thinks that he/she has broken his/her leg, that person should immediately see a doctor. Although an x-ray will most likely be performed, it is the only way do determine whether a leg has been truly broken or fractured.
The femur is the third segment of the leg in a grasshopper. It gives them power when they are jumping from place to place.
The hypothesis of a broken leg is that you fractured your leg.
Many small predators are hunting grasshoppers. This can be other insects. It can be small mammals. A majority of grasshoppers are hunted and get eaten by birds. The grasshopper looses one of its legs often so that it can escape a predator. A bird having a firm hold of a leg will often be satisfied with only the leg and the insect can hop around a little bit more with the remaining one.
Go home immediately, and ice it.
If his leg is broken it is kindest to take him to the vet and have him put down. A broken leg can't normally be fixed in a hamster, and he will eventually die in pain.and give it food.
Generally speaking: no. However, a broken leg requires veterinary care as soon as possible.
