He's probably just fine I wouldn't imagine anything is wrong with him. He'll probably use it eventually. If not, maybe try using other objects like empty toilet paper rolls. I used that for my guinea pig.
They eat the regular guinea pig diet. Guinea pig pellets, timothy hay, water, chew treats, and get them a chew block or salt chew also to help wear their teeth down.
Some times the babies will chew on the mothers hair and this will cause bald spots.
Yes they can
Their teeth do not stop growing, you need to put many wooden toys in the cage for them to chew on to wear the teeth down naturally.
because the little guinea pig likes the older one
no because medal are hard
it is hard to tell, if your guinea pig is in their hidey house, they will chew less often, but when they are running around or playing they are going to be chewing a lot
By giving it tunnels and things to do and chew........ (make sure these are treats etc that you give them to chew) Guinea pigs love parsley bells (you can buy these from pet shops)
Wood cages are not very good because guinea pigs love to chew on wood. If you give your guinea pig a wooden cage, they might chew threw one day. Your pet might get lost!
Because guinea pigs are rodents, Rodent teeth never stop growing so they need to continually wear them down. don't worry on of my guinea pig dos that to even if though i put something in there for them to chew or nibble on their just trying to stop there teeth from over growing its verry natural
They can be housed in any cage they can not chew out of.
wooden carrots. there flavoured and good for their teeth.
