It might be and most likely is. You found the policy, contact the claims department of the carrying insurance company.
Have the policy dated to have "save the ratable age" of the insured.
No, the reason is that there could have been an accident or any other situation. An auto insurance policy must be in force it cannot be back dated.
64596933 is on policy dated 7/11/79 from united insurance company of america
You contact your agent or the companies claims department and tell them you wish to cash in the policy.
I too have a policy dated 1949. After some research I found that they were taken over by Protective Life Ins. Co. 205-268-1000 Good luck
If it is life insurance then most likely, yes. Contact the company. If the company no longer exists, their policies probably have been taken over by a different company. You might have to get your State insurance commissioner's office involved to find out who is responsible for paying the proceeds, but you should still be able to file a claim with the company.
Not legally
Look inside your life insurance policy contract. There should be a provisions section that explains what is required of you in order to cancel your life insurance policy. Usually, you must send a written request signed and dated including your name, name of the insured, the policy number and the date the cancellation should take effect. This written request should be sent to the insurance company listed on the front page of your life insurance policy. If you have any questions, you can contact your life insurance company by phone or call your life insurance agent. Finally, the failure to pay one or more premiums will result in the termination of coverage. If it is a term life insurance policy, the termination of coverage will occur quickly. If it is a whole life insurance policy that has accumulated cash value, unless you take affirmative steps to cancel it (as explained above), the premiums may be paid from the cash value until it is exhausted.
I have a policy that was dated 1/13/1944 for my father. I would like to know who to contact as it was paid out. thanks
I think I am looking for the same information. I found a policy dated from 1962 from The Service Life Insurance Co. Fort Worth Tx. Trying to find if it is still valid and contact information. Policy was taken out in Korea. Will keep looking and keep you informed as well.
Read your insurance policy. A normal life insurance policy would pay the full benefit no matter what after the 2 year incontestable period. The only things that would cause the benefit to be denied during the first two years is if they had lied on the application or if they did not disclose something important on the application. The application will ask about illegal drug use and I'm sure they answered no. If they started using drugs or paint after the application was dated no problem.
Yes, you can file for divorce in Alberta or anywhere else in Canada if a husband has dated and cheated on his wife. The wife just has to seek legal counsel and serve her husband with divorce papers.
