Well there are a lot of things that can cause this to happen, sensitivity to the cleaning product, a burr on the jewellery, hypertrophic reaction or just a build up of matter on the jewellery inside the sinus passage. If you are wearing a ring be sure to rotate the jewellery under running water in the shower an rotate the inside portion of the ring to the outside so matter can be cleaned off. If it's a nostril screw, get a squirt bottle of sinus saline rinse and irrigate the inside of the sinus passage by the jewellery and clean it off with a Q-Tip. In the case of a burr or damaged piece of jewellery go back to your piercer and have them remove the jewellery and replace it with a piece that isn't damaged. Now for sensitivity to the cleaning product ease off on the use of these products and rinse the piercing under running water after showering, the discomfort will ease in a few days.
3 to 6 months, depending on how it looks. If after 3 it looks nice and has no puss or discharge you can change it. If it still looks red or infected, I would wait another month or two.
I would say it is infected so go to the place you got it done at. Hopefully you did not do it yourself but if so go to a doctor.
feeling funny, looks funny, cant move, it still hurts...
After getting my Tragus pierced I waited until 2 months to change mine as it was still hurting , but when they change the bar in the Tragus it can be quite painful so just putting it out there and don't change jewelry in the Tragus when it's infected it really hurts
You can tell if it is infected by if the bite is very swollen and it hurts really bad but when you pull it off its going to hurt but that doesn't mean its infected. When its 3 days later and its still in bad pain you should see a doctor. quickly!!!!!!!
please, go to a doctor, if not it could be infected, or something like that.
Yes it might be infected. Yellow and green and all. If there's a discharge draining friom the site, or sticky after this time, give a call to the guy you did your ink and ask him about it. Also, check and see if you're running a temp. If you are, I'd say it's certain.
i got my tragus pierced yesterday and it hurts pretty bad. it heels about 3 months or so
People can be still infected but it is easily cured now.
Any hernia will hurt until repaired. If your hernia still hurt then there must be a reason. Your Local Doctor should be able to find that reason
There are some people with pierced ears who simply cannot wear anything other than gold earrings. If you have had an infected ear for eight (!!) months, you should consult a licensed health practitioner before you do do anything else. And don't wear an earring in the infected ear!
because it still hurts
